The situation
The Yellow has composed weddings, proposals and milestone celebrations across Doha since 2018 — seventy-plus productions, staged internationally, entirely bespoke. The gap was a digital presence with the same restraint as the work itself. In a market where clients are referred and then quietly research you, the site has to carry the taste level before the first conversation.
What we built
- A single-page editorial site with a portfolio archive, each event named, dated and placed
- Four service chapters covering weddings, private celebrations, brand work and production
- The atelier's story and method
- A private enquiry form written to open a conversation rather than capture a lead
How we approached it
We designed for restraint, which is harder than designing for luxury.
The temptation with an events client is maximalism. The brand's own promise is understatement, so the site withholds — typography carries the weight, the work is shown large and quiet, and nothing decorates.
We structured the portfolio the way the client talks about it.
Named commissions with venue and year, not a gallery grid. It reads as a body of work rather than a feed.
